Hickory, NC – Frye Regional Medical Center and the Tenet Healthcare Foundation have awarded a $4000 grant to the Catawba Science Center for their “Touch the Future” capital campaign. The grant, designated for several new exhibits - including a digital planetarium and several large aquariums – was presented to Executive Director Mark Sinclair on December 6. It is the first payment of a $100,000 grant that Frye has pledged to the Science Center over the next five years.
“We are very thankful to Frye and the Tenet Healthcare Foundation for their continued support of the Catawba Science Center,” Sinclair said. “They have clearly demonstrated their commitment to our community through this exciting investment in our future.”
