Hickory, NC--Frye Regional Medical Center invited office staff of its affiliated physicians to walk the red carpet at its annual appreciation luncheon on October 18. More than 250 office staff turned out to enjoy the event held in their honor at the Frye Wellness & Education Center.
The “Hollywood” inspired event included a delicious lunch, lively music, prizes and a red carpet lined with life size cut-outs of famous people from old Hollywood, such as Marilyn Monroe, to current celebrities like Paris Hilton. The attendees were eager to have their pictures taken with the “celebrities”, placing their photos in keepsake frames provided at the event. Additionally, each attendee was adorned with a “Hollywood Reporter” press pass provided by the Hickory Daily Record.
The event also allowed the office staff educational opportunities regarding various service lines offered at Frye such as the Women’s Pavilion, the Surgical Weight Loss Program, Unifour Pain Treatment Center, the Vein & Wound Center, FryeCare, South Campus and much more. Awareness of these offerings is critical because the office staff has the opportunity to pass along information regarding these programs to patients that may benefit from it.
Denny Bruns, President and CEO of Frye Regional Medical Center, thanked the group for their continued dedication to patient care and their support of Frye. “This group of people is critical to patient care in the physician office setting and in directing patients to the appropriate specialist or referred to the appropriate hospital program,” said Bruns. “We truly respect their role in caring for patients.”
