Hickory, NC – Frye Regional Medical Center and the Tenet Healthcare Foundation have awarded an $18,500 grant to the YMCA of Catawba Valley. The grant, in support of the C.O. Miller Teen Center capital development project, was presented to YMCA President and CEO Phil DiCasolo on January 25.
“We are extremely grateful to Frye for their support of the C.O. Miller Teen Center and the YMCA of Catawba Valley,” DiCasolo said. “This donation is a true reflection of their generosity and commitment to our community.”
The YMCA of Catawba Valley is a volunteer organization dedicated to meeting the needs of its community. Endowed by Tenet, the Foundation, along with Frye Regional Medical Center, directs grants to help healthcare needs in the communities served by facilities owned by Tenet hospitals. The Foundation also provides grants to various educational, social services, civic and humanities–supporting organizations nationwide.
Frye Regional Medical Center, part of Tenet North Carolina, is a 355-bed acute care facility located at 420 North Center Street in Hickory, NC.
