Hickory, NC – Frye Regional Medical Center and the Tenet Healthcare Foundation have awarded a $3500 grant to the Rape Crisis Center of Catawba County. The grant, designated for general operating expenses, was presented to Center Director Amy Eades-Fisher on November 30th.
“We are extremely grateful to Frye and the Foundation for their generous contribution,” Eades- Fisher said. “Their support over the years has helped us remain a valuable resource to the people of Catawba County.”
The Rape Crisis Center of Catawba County is a non-profit organization which provides crisis intervention to victims of rape and sexual assault 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The agency’s primary function is to provide support for victims of sexual assault, their friends and their families. They are also committed to increasing public awareness of sexual violence through educational programs.
