Hickory, NC – Frye Regional Medical Center is preparing for the 4th Annual Lake Hickory Triathlon on June 17, 2006 at Riverbend Development Clubhouse in Hickory. This event is one of 12 races that make up the Endurance Development Series, targeted towards beginning and novice competitors.
The Lake Hickory Triathlon consists of a 750 meter open swim in Lake Hickory, followed by a 15 mile bike course featuring beautiful scenes of the Blue Ridge Mountains and culminates with a 5 K run around the Riverbend subdivision. Registration is at 7am and the event starts at 8:30am.
