Thomas M. Wiley, MD, Joins Medical Staff of Frye Regional Medical Center

Hickory, NC - - Frye Regional Medical Center welcomes cardiologist, Thomas M. Wiley, MD, to its medical staff. 

Dr. Wiley completed a bachelor of science degree at the United States Military Academy in West Point, NY and completed his medical degree at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD where he received the Army Surgeon General’s Award.

Dr. Wiley completed an internship in internal medicine, a residency in internal medicine and fellowships in cardiology and electrophysiology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.

Following his fellowship, Dr. Wiley worked as a the Director of the Coronary Care Unit, the Director of Electrophysiology and the Assistant Chief of Cardiology Services at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.

Dr. Wiley has many years of experience with ablation therapy for complex rhythm problems and implantable defibrillator management.

“I am excited about the opportunity to practice electrophysiology in the private sector in Hickory and look forward to working with the staff and physicians at Frye,” said Dr. Wiley.
 
Dr. Wiley is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology and clinical cardiac electrophysiology and is a member of the National Board of Medical Examiners.
