Seth E. Larson, MD, Joins Medical Staff of Frye Regional Medical Center

    Hickory, NC - - Frye Regional Medical Center welcomes Seth E. Larson, MD, neurologist, to its medical staff. 

    Dr. Larson is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Minnesota. He received his medical degree at the University of Minnesota Medical School and completed his residency at the Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, Arizona. He then completed a fellowship in Neurophysiology and Epilepsy at the Mayo Clinic Hospital in Scottsdale, Arizona. 

    Dr. Larson is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Before relocating to the Hickory area, he served primarily in the hospital setting at the Arizona Neurological Institute. He plans to continue his focus on hospital work locally and to maintain an interest in epilepsy by continuing his involvement in long-term video EEG monitoring. 

    Dr. Larson is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Medical Association and has been a teacher and presenter at regional, national, and international meetings at the Barrow Neurological Institute and Mayo Clinic Arizona. Additionally, he has been received several research grants by the University of Minnesota, US Multicenter Onyx and the Mayo Clinic Arizona.

    Frye Regional Medical Center, part of Tenet North Carolina, is a 355-bed acute care facility located at 420 North Center Street in Hickory, NC.
