Hickory, NC – Frye Regional Medical Center has named Eddie Salyards, RPh, Vice President of Business Development. Prior to this position, Salyards served as Administrative Director of Frye’s Surgical Weight Loss Program, Infusion Care Center, Home Infusion, Diabetes Center, Vein and Wound Center and Anticoagulation Clinic.
Salyards has been with Frye since March 1996. He was recognized as a Supernova in 2006 for being an outstanding Administrative Director.
In his new role, Salyards will be responsible for working directly with the hospital’s administrative team on the business plan, growth of current services and development of new programs, fostering relationships with community leaders and area industry and assisting with physician recruitment.
Salyards received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Carolina School of Pharmacy program.
“Eddie is a skilled leader with a proven track record of success,” said Denny Bruns, Frye President and CEO. “With his clinical background and business development skills, he was a natural choice for this position. I feel confident that he will help us take Frye to the next level.”
Frye Regional Medical Center, part of Tenet North Carolina, is a 355-bed acute care facility located at 420 North Center Street in Hickory, NC.
