   Visiting Hours

Visits from family and friends are often a significant part of the healing process for our patient; we welcome and encourage these visits. In order to enhance the quality of care for our patients and provide for their privacy, and to protect their confidentiality, we have established specific visiting hours and regulations for our units, explained below.

General
Visiting hours are from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. daily. At 9 p.m., an announcement on the overhead communications system will let visitors know that visiting hours are ending. No more than two visitors are allowed at the bedside at one time. Children are allowed to visit in most patient rooms if they are healthy and are accompanied by an adult. You may ask your nurse about visiting guidelines for your floor.

Critical Care/Intensive Care Units:
Only members of the patients immediate family are allowed to visit in the Critical Care Unit, Observation Unit, Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit , and Neuro Intensive Care Unit. Ask the nurse on each unit for an information sheet about visitation.
