Support Groups

Support groups are held the third Thursday of each month at the Park Inn Gateway Conference Center in Hickory from 6:30-7:30 pm.

This year's Walk from Obesity will be held on Saturday, September 27 at the Hickory Foundation YMCA. Registration begins at 8:00am.

The seventh annual Surgical Weight Loss Gala, a celebration of patients' success, will be held on November 14 from 6:00-9:00pm. The event is free for past and current patients, and $10 for their invited guests. For more information, contact the Surgical Weight Loss Center at 828-315-5577.
