The Facility:
36 bed dedicated Neuro/Ortho unit
2 Orthopaedic Surgery Rooms
Joint Camp – for the surgery and rehab of total joint care
Therapy on-site and off-site at 5 area locations
Home Health orthopedic care
Side-line sports medicine support for approximately 14
high schools, 26 middle schools, and
area recreational leagues
Our Orthopaedic program includes a continuum of care which includes any or all of the following services: Side-line coverage, Pre-Op orthopaedic teaching, Acute Care, Restorative Care Unit, Inpatient Rehabilitation, Home Health and Outpatient interventions, community education.
Frye Regional Medical Center will be adding Joint Camp, a specialized program for total joint replacement patients the summer of 2000.
Free seminars will be offered beginning the summer of 2000 on:
● Hip and Knee Care, Injury Prevention and Corrective Surgical Procedures.
● Coaches Seminars – addressing early intervention and recognition of orthopaedic injuries
● Back School – free educational seminars on the overall health of your back.
