Our Cancer Center takes a multi-disclipinary approach to the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. Physicians from many specialities join their skills to offer new hope to cancer patients. The Frye Auxiliary Cancer Resource Center is located on the fourth floor of Frye Regional Medical Center, 420 North Center Street in Hickory, North Carolina. The phone number is 828-345-5668. The Frye Auxiliary Cancer Resource Center is available 24 hours a day for cancer related educational information and other services. The Center provides the cancer patient or family member an opportunity to learn more about the disease itself or about support groups and services available in the community. A cancer help (touch screen) computer is located in the library to answer basic cancer related questions. Pamphlets, brochures, books and videos are on hand to offer educational information as well. The Frye Auxiliary Cancer Resource Center is a sponsor of numerous cancer support groups and can provide information about other support groups throught the Unifour area.
