The online application for the 2014 RN residency program will open soon. Please begin collecting your application documents. A application materials need to include: a résumé listing education, clinical experiences as well as current and previous employment, two (2) faculty references (at least one clinical) on provided forms in sealed/signed envelopes. About the RN Residency Program
Frye Regional Medical Center is offering an innovative RN Residency Program which is structured to provide a smooth transition for the new nurse graduate. During this program the new nurse will experience the following:
- Instructor led courses which are based on the latest evidence based practice
- Personalized clinical training from experienced preceptors
- Debriefing sessions where participants exchange experiences obtained at the bedside
- Personal support and professional guidance provided by an assigned mentor
- A liaison (Clinical Nurse Educator) who will navigate the RN Resident through on-boarding and transition phases
Applicants must have a current NA 1 or NA 2 license to be considered for the program and must obtain their RN license before starting the residency program. The application process is highly competitive and recruiters will contact the most qualified candidates, so be sure include any relevant coursework or training in a concise, professional résumé and cover letter.
