Hospitality House Hosts 4th Annual Golf Tournament

    Frye Regional Medical Center’s Carpenter Hospitality House is hosting their fourth annual golf tournament on Monday, May 12, 2008 at Lake Hickory Country Club - Catawba Springs. Lunch will be served at 11:00 am followed by a shotgun start at 1:00 pm.  The cost of the event is $75 per person, which includes green fee, cart, range balls and lunch.     The Carpenter Hospitality House, established by the Frye Volunteer Auxiliary in December 1992, is a non-profit 501-C-3 organization that provides a “home away from home” to the families of patients of local hospitals at no cost to them. Hospitality House operates on donations only and is staffed by volunteers who help take care of the families. All proceeds from the golf tournament will be used by the Carpenter Hospitality House for expenses, repairs, and maintenance of their home on the corner of North Center Street and 5th Ave NE in Hickory.
