Joy S. Lowry, MD, Joins Medical Staff of Frye Regional Medical Center

    Hickory, NC - - Frye Regional Medical Center welcomes Joy S. Lowry, MD, pediatrician, to its medical staff. 

    Dr. Lowry is a graduate of the Lenoir-Rhyne College where she received her Bachelors of Science in Biology with honors. She then received her medical degree at East Carolina University in 1994 and completed her residency at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville, North Carolina. 

    Dr. Lowry is a member of the North Carolina Medical Society and North Carolina Pediatric Society. She is also an Academy of Pediatrics fellow. 

    “I have been looking forward to returning to this area and practicing medicine with an esteemed group of physicians,” said Lowry. “It is a pleasure to serve this community,” added Lowry. 

    Frye Regional Medical Center, part of Tenet North Carolina, is a 355-bed acute care facility located at 420 North Center Street in Hickory, NC.
