Frye Regional Medical Center’s Environmental Services Department is committed to providing patients, staff, physicians and visitors a clean and comfortable environment. The EVS department has a staff of about 80 employees. The department provides services twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
Environmental Services at both Main and South Campus provide support services to all departments throughout the hospital. EVS contributions range from cleaning patient rooms and ancillary areas to coordinating vendor services, stocking areas with soap and paper products, disbursement of clean linen, removal of trash, biohazardous waste, and soiled linen, as well as setting up for departmental meetings. The EVS Management Team is dedicated to meeting each opportunity in a prompt, efficient manner.
