Specialized clinical nurses at the Infusion Care Center provide a wide variety of services related to intravenous treatments, including:

  • Administration of intravenous therapies traditionally provided in hospital or home settings
  • IV catheter care 
  • Migraine therapy
  • Pharmacist-managed pharmacokinetic dosing
  • Monitoring of first dose medications
  • Patient education
  • Coordination of patient insurance benefits
  • Pharmacist dosage adjustments and monitoring

  • Osteoporosis Agents including Reclast, Boniva and Proleia
  • Hydration Therapy
  • Antivirals
  • Antifungals including Diflucan, Cancidas
  • Immune Globulin
  • Blood Products
  • Steroids including SoluMedrol
  • Hematopoetic agents including Procrit, Aranesp, Neupogen and Neulasta
  • Monoclonoal Antibody Therapy including Remincade, Rituxan and Tysabri
  • Enzyme Replacement including Fabrazyme and Prolastin
  • Tysabri for Multiple Sclerosis treatment
