Psychiatrist Dr. Javier Rojas Joins Frye Regional’s Medical Staff
January 24, 2019(HICKORY, NC, Jan. 24, 2019) – Frye Regional Medical Center welcomes psychiatrist Javier Rojas, MD, to its active medical staff. Dr. Rojas treats a wide range of behavioral health-related medical conditions in adult patients including depression, bipolar and mood disorders, psychosis, schizophrenic disorders, dementia-related behaviors, anxiety, panic attacks, addiction, sleep disorders and suicidal or homicidal ideation. He is actively involved in bringing new psychiatric medications and pharmaceuticals to the market through clinical research trials.
Dr. Rojas received his medical degree from University of Arizona-Tucson, and completed his residency in psychiatry at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital.
