Heart Failure Patients, Let Us Show You The Love:
January 31, 2020Hickory, NC (Jan. 31, 2020) Frye Regional Medical Center is kicking off Heart Month in February by treating heart failure patients and their guests to a free educational event, “Let Us Show You The Love.” It will be held on February 12, 2020. Guests can drop-in anytime from 2 - 5 pm at Frye Regional Medical Center’s Heart Tower Lobby, 420 N Center Street, Hickory, NC
Our experts will talk one on one with attendees to discuss:
- Low sodium diet, recipes, and other heart-friendly dietary tips
- Safe exercising advice
- Medication guidance
- Community resources
- Free information on advance directives
- New Frye Heart Failure Support Group
- Raffle prizes including free digital scales, blood pressure cuffs, gift cards & more
Our experts will be on hand including Leverne Fox, MD, FryeCare Cardiology, Abhyudaya Joshi, MD - Apogee Physicians, Lisa Robinson, MSN, ACNO, CHFN, FryeCare Heart Failure Clinic, and Jessica Bumgarner, BSN-RN, CHFN Heart Failure Coordinator.
