Frye Regional Invites Community to Open House at HealthPark
February 16, 2026
Frye Regional Medical Center, a Duke LifePoint hospital, will host a community Open House on Monday, March 16, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. The event celebrates the opening of its new Frye Regional Imaging Center – Lenoir at Frye Regional HealthPark. Community members are invited to tour the facility, meet staff and learn about advanced imaging services now available closer to home.
The Imaging Center is located at 1041 Morganton Blvd. SW in Lenoir. It expands Frye Regional’s services in Caldwell County and helps make care easier to access. The center represents a $3.5 million investment in the community and supports timely diagnosis and better care for residents.
“Health care should be easy to reach and focused on the people we serve,” said Philip Greene, MD, chief executive officer of Frye Regional Medical Center. “This Imaging Center helps families in surrounding communities get the care they need without traveling far from home.”
Advanced imaging services designed for comfort and accuracy
The new Imaging Center offers many outpatient imaging services, including MRI, CT, mammography, DEXA, ultrasound and X-ray. These services help doctors find and treat health problems quickly and accurately. High-resolution MRI and CT scans create clear images of the inside of the body. X-ray and ultrasound exams offer fast, noninvasive testing options.
The center also introduces a new 3D mammography system. This technology provides clear breast images while using a low dose of radiation. To further enhance the patient experience, the new system allows women to control breast compression during exams. The center also offers a new system for bone density testing and body composition exams, along with high-quality ultrasound services supporting general, vascular, OB/GYN and structural imaging services.
Patients benefit from same-day appointments, walk-in availability and coordinated care between imaging specialists and referring providers.
