Frye Regional Medical Center Welcomes Physiatrist Dr. Donnielle Green

Frye Regional Medical Center is pleased to welcome Dr. Donnielle Green to its inpatient rehabilitation medical staff. A physiatrist specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation, Green provides physician oversight and rehabilitative care for adult and geriatric patients, helping them recover from serious illness, injury and surgery with the goal of restoring function, improving mobility and maximizing independence.

Green’s experience spans more than 20 years across hospital medicine, hospice and palliative care, post‑acute care and physician leadership. Her previous experience includes serving patients at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, South Carolina, and VIA Health Partners in Charlotte, North Carolina.

As a physiatrist, Green works closely with rehabilitation nurses and various therapists to develop individualized treatment plans that support recovery and help patients return to their highest possible level of function. She cares for patients recovering from conditions such as stroke, neurological disorders, orthopedic injuries and other complex medical conditions that require intensive rehabilitation.

Green completed her residency in internal medicine at Garden City Hospital in Garden City, Michigan. She earned her medical degree from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan.

“I’m excited to join the Frye Regional Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit and provide exceptional care to patients throughout our region,” said Green. “Helping patients regain function, restore independence and improve their quality of life is where I have found my passion. I look forward to serving this community and building meaningful relationships with patients and their families.”

Outside of her clinical practice, Green participates in community and faith-based health ministries, including the HealthCare Ministry and Freedom Temple Ministries in Rock Hill. She enjoys spending time with her family and is an avid fan of track and field and baseball. Many summer weekends are spent cheering for her son, a nationally ranked sprinter.
