Frye Regional Welcomes Dr. Jacklynn Lesniak as Chief Nursing Officer

Frye Regional Medical Center has named Jacklynn Lesniak, DNP, MS, RN, NEA-BC, as its new Chief Nursing Officer, effective July 13, 2026.
Dr. Lesniak started her career as a CVICU nurse and has led multiple cardiac programs and heart hospitals through her more than 30 years of progressive health care leadership experience. She has a distinguished record of building engaged teams, advancing professional nursing practice and improving patient outcomes across nationally recognized health care organizations.
Most recently, she served as chief nursing executive officer and principal of Triple Double Healthcare Advisors in Pinehurst, North Carolina, where she advised health care systems nationwide on nursing strategy, leadership development, workforce planning and patient safety initiatives.
Prior to her consulting work, Dr. Lesniak served as System chief nursing officer for FirstHealth of the Carolinas in Pinehurst, North Carolina, overseeing nursing operations across a four-hospital health system. There, she led initiatives that reduced nurse turnover, enhanced patient outcomes, expanded workforce development programs and advanced innovative models of care.
Her leadership experience also includes executive nursing roles with Advocate Aurora Health in Grafton, Wisconsin, and Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Boca Raton, Florida, where she guided quality improvement efforts, professional governance programs, Magnet® designation initiatives and major operational projects.

As chief nursing officer, Dr. Lesniak will provide strategic leadership for nursing services and clinical operations, helping advance patient-centered care, professional nursing practice, workforce engagement and organizational performance.

Dr. Lesniak earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Northern Kentucky University in Highland Heights, Kentucky; a Master of Science in Management from National Louis University in Evanston, Illinois; and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Illinois. She is board certified as a Nurse Executive Advanced through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
